So the first DIY that I tried came from Clover Lane .
She came up with this awesome tutorial on how to make a blog header using Picasa.
GENIUS!
I have to admit, at first I was nervous! I didn't think there was any way that I was going to figure it out and do it the right way... but I did!
YAY!
I was pretty impressed at how simple it was to follow her steps and understand what she meant. As a matter of fact, if you look at the top of my blog you will see the header that I ended up with! She is right in saying that you will make a whole bunch and that it will consume your life momentarily!
I made quite a few different ones before I ended up with one I totally LOVED, but I got A LOT of experiance doing it. I'm pretty sure I could just tell you how without reference to her instructions. Yeah, see, that's A LOT of practice!
Any way, I wanted to spread the word not only because I really like her blog and because this tutorial actually works, but because I've never even seen another one you don't have to pay for and if you are anything like me, you will fricken appreciate that!

Hey! I made a header the other day useing her tutorial too. She gave great instructions. I see you are just starting you blog, I am too and am finding out it is a learning curve!! I wish you luck! If you would like to visit me here I am.

Just a suggestion, you might want to make your links a different color font, it was really hard for me to see. Your blogs cute! Good luck.
